Waste and Recycling

What happens to all the failed parts?

Coastside Circuit Breakers meticulously inspects and tests each used part we purchase, however in this business we accumulate a large amount of waste from electrical & electronic equipment that fail our QC inspection. As a company we are concerned about the environmental impacts of these electrical parts and how they are disposed of. Here at Coastside we take pride in breaking down every failed component into recyclable waste and re-using any parts that we can.

What do you pay per breaker?

Prices are determined by a few different criteria. We take our current stock levels and also our sales history to compile a price per lot or item. Depending on the condition and vintage we also take into consideration the average fail rate on some older products.

How does the payment work?

Once we receive your products in safely we will than process your payment based upon the agreement in offer. In some cases, larger amount will be paid NET 15-30.

How do I ship items to you?

Before any items are shipped you must have an offer in place with our buyers. In most cases Coastside pays for the shipping of your items. You are fully responsible for the packing of the items and making sure nothing gets damaged in route to our location. Once you have the sizes and estimated weights we can email you shipping labels or set up freight as needed.

I don’t want to list all these Items, can I just send them to get pricing?

We have customers that accumulate large amounts of jobsite debris boxes and or years of old used inventory and need to make space. We can arrange a blanket cost and once we receive your products in we can detail the pricing for you. For more details on this blind process please contact our buying team
